Personal Details

I've been living in Germany since completing an honors degree in Modern and Medieval Languages (French and German) at King's College, Cambridge in 1992. In addition to my freelance work, I also have many years' experience as in-house translator for research institutes, including six years at the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering here in Berlin. I'm currently working on the English edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, specializing in current affairs and the arts. I also translate in the fields of telecoms, automotive industry, publishing and advertising/PR, as well as literary projects (drama, poetry, short prose).
